LIVING QUARTERS MISCELLANY
Right so to avoid making a habit of having to rephrase the way Leon's apartment looks every time he invites someone over, which is a thing he likes doing, I'm just going to make a post for it so I can link it every time instead! Much less annoying, at least for me. Also tbh I work with furniture and home decor and I love this shit so it gives me an excuse to link pics of things.
Here is like a basic map of the layout:
Okay this is clearly not to scale because the sofa is not twice the size of the bathroom BUT, WHATEVER it's just meant to give an idea! i tried
The decor of the place isn't really very matchy; he picked what he thought looked cool out of the catalog for each piece rather than picking out like a whole theme or anything. It's kind of an industrial/modern mishmash with some shitty goth accents. The walls have that concrete industrial look kind of like this:
and the floor is similar except for that big area rug, which is black and super plush and soft. If you're wondering if it's there so that he can have sex on it the answer is yeah. Yes it is.
The tables all have this kind of look:
Sleek and black and chrome and that kind of stuff. His coffee table is on wheels because why not.
The couch is gigantic because it's also there for sex (or hanging out! hanging out!), and it's black leather and really fuckin' comfortable and stuff.
Basically kind of like this. Holy shit does that sofa have built-in lights. YEAH SURE. LET'S GO WITH THAT. IT'S THAT SOFA. brilliant
I can add to this bit later because he hasn't invited anyone into his bedroom yet (awww) or the kitchen, so I haven't had to worry about describing those; that'll be edited in as it becomes relevant.
Decor-wise he's got punk rock paraphernalia all over: posters on the walls, and a guitar + case up leaning up against a wall. There is no baseball stuff in sight because fuck baseball!! He doesn't have a lot of CDs lying around because most of his music in Cerealia is digital in his CereVice, and he spent enough money on decor shit that he can't afford stacks of CDs anyway; they'll probably start gradually appearing over time. He has a TV, though, near the couch for maximum watching.
The kitchen area is behind a wall that has a big open doorway, with no doors in it, so that it's pretty much visible from the front door/main room. There's probably a range in there too which he has no idea how to use. But if you ever need to cook something in his place, it's there. He mostly sticks to the microwave and takeout.
